So you want to be a jock superstar and live large, with a big house and five
cars, you're in charge? As Cypress Hill would say, “Don’t we all.” Or perhaps
you just want to have fun and stay busy in college. Either way, it sounds like
being a college athlete is what you want to do.
Playing a sport in college is very hard to do, but you also get to reap the
rewards, baby! It will be nothing like high school where you were the star and
you never had to work for anything. It will be extremely demanding and time
consuming to say the least. I am going to play in college because it will help
me finance it, as it does for many people who receive scholarships. There are
also a lot of people who walk on and just decide to turn out for the team. But
almost all who choose this path do it because they like to play the sport. It’s
also a good way to impress the opposite sex, right?
